CAIRO – 14 April 2020: Megastars Mohmed Mounir, Tamer Hosny, Samira Said, Saber Rebai, Wael Gassar and Carole Samaha will all participate in the massive operetta "Enta Akaw" (You are Stronger) that is scheduled to be released soon.
The renowned Egyptian writer and poet Medhat el-Adl, who wrote the lyrics of "Enta Akwa", said that the song is Egypt’s message to humanity in the coronavirus crisis.
Adl added that all these stars didn’t take any money and all the revenues of the song will be given to the coronavirus patient’s families.
The renowned poet added that all the participants are following all the precautionary measures against the coronavirus as Rebai will record and shoot his part in Tunisia, Gassar in Lebanon, and Said from El Gouna.
Egyptian stars Mounir and Hosny recorded and shot their part in Egypt. "Enta Akwa" will be directed by Tarek al-Arian.
The Egyptian superstar had his 1st standing concert in Jeddah on Feb.27 as part of JTTX Music Festival.
Hosny’s latest movie "El-Feloos" (The Money) was released in Egyptian cinemas on December 25 achieving booming success.
“El-Floos” is also starring Khaled el-Sawy, Zeina, Aisha bin Ahmed and Mohammed Salam. It is written by Mohammed Abdel Moti and directed by Saeed el-Marouk.
TikTok platform announced its partnership with megastar Tamer Hosny on New Year's Eve.
Hosny posted his first TikTok video wishing his fans health and success as part of the #2020MakeAWish challenge and pledged to bring another level of style and diversity to his content in 2020.
Hosny also wished everyone a Happy New Year through a TikTok video message screened on the Burj Khalifa.
Hosny is a singer, songwriter, composer and actor. He began his musical career in 2002. His romantic music has made him "the Star of the Generation", a name given to him by his fans.
Hosny won many awards, such as Best Selling Album in 2002 from the Nile Variety channel, Best Arab Artist at Murex D’Or in 2014 and 2016, and Best Arab Artist at the Middle East Music Awards in 2015. He is also the first Arab artist to receive more than 100 million views on Anghami.
His movie “El-Badla” (The Suit) which was released in Eid El-Fitr achieved revenues that exceeded LE 50 million. In the movie, he plays the role of a police officer who finds himself involved in a number of critical situations due to the nature of his job.
“El-Badla” stars Amina Khalil, Maged el-Masry, Dalal Abdel Aziz, Hassan Hosny, and Mai Kassab, among others. The movie is written by Ayman Bahagat Kamar and directed by Mando el-Adl. Hosny announced that “El-Badla” achieved the highest revenues in the history of the Egyptian cinema.
In August 2017, Hosny headed to Los Angeles and had his hand print and footprint permanently engraved on the Forecourt of the Stars at Hollywood's iconic Chinese Theatre.
Hosny’s song "Eish Beshoqak" also amassed millions of views directly after it had been released on his official channel on YouTube. "Eish Beshoqak" was composed by Mostafa Hassan, distributed by Hany Mahrous and Bilal Sorour and directed by Hadi el-Bagoury.
The video clip of "Eish Beshoqak" shows Hosny meeting with people in the streets and trying to draw a smile on their faces despite of the problems they face daily.
Hosny hit the one-billion views mark on all his songs on his YouTube channel on September 2, 2018.

Hosny attracted the largest audience in his concert in Khobar Festival.
The star was the first Arab pop singer to perform a concert in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on March 30, 2018. The concert witnessed the attendance of thousands of Saudis, about 90 percent of whom were women.
The concert was held under the auspices of the Saudi General Entertainment Authority, which stated that Hosny was chosen to perform such a huge concert because of his popularity among all Saudis.
Also, Hosny performed in the opening ceremony of Abu Dhabi 2019 Special Olympics World Summer Games on March 14. Hosny performed alongside renowned Syrian singer Assala, Emirati star Hussein al- Jasmi, Puerto Rican star Luis Fonsi and Canadian pop star Avril Lavigne.
The song was a motivational animated performance entitled “Right where I'm supposed to Be". It was performed in English, Spanish and Arabic.
Hosni and Fonsi met at the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi amidst a group of fans. The two stars sat together and talked about their future projects.
Hosny revealed to Egypt Today that he was proud to represent Egypt in this event as it is considered the most important Arab event in the current period.
