Zeina accused of brutal murder in 'Gam’ Salem'

CAIRO - 13 April 2020: Famed star Zeina continues to shoot her new series "Gam’ Salem", set to be broadcast during Ramadan. A murder takes place during the series’ events, and puts the heroine in trouble.

In the series, Zeina's house is also ransacked in search of documents, which reveal that she was thrown away by her parents as a baby.

The director of the series, Iman el-Haddad, is also intensifying the number of filming hours to make it in time for broadcasting in Ramadan. The crew of the series decided to use an additional filming unit led by director Rasha el-Kurdi.

“Gam’ Salem” is written by Mohammed Nair and directed by Iman el-Haddad. The series stars Zeina, Dalal Abdulaziz, Mohammed Shaheen, Salwa Khattab, Reem el-Baroudi, Malak Qura, Mido Adel, Mohamed Alaa, Sameh el-Sorieti, Mohammed Desouki, Ayman Azab, Ahmed Sultan and Hanan Suleiman.

It is worth mentioning that Zeina’s last drama work is the series “Mamno’ el-Ekterab Wal Tasweer” directed by Ziad el-Wishahi, and written by Mohammed el-Safty.

The series also starred Fathi Abdel Wahab, Nisreen Amin, May el-Qadi, Mohammed Shaheen and Hazem Samir and was first broadcast in 2018.

It revolves around a rising artist seeking to reach stardom. Gradually, she turns into one of the most famous stars in society. Usually, there is always a price to pay for such stardom; a brutal murder occurred.
