Min. of Culture’s YouTube channel to present Rebai’s concert

CAIRO - 26 March 2020: As part of the e-initiative "Stay at home ... Culture is in your hands" a concert for Tunisian star Saber el-Rebai will be broadcast on the Ministry of Culture’s official YouTube channel on March 27 at 9 p.m.

During the concert, Rebai performs a wide selection of his most popular hits, including “Ya Asal”, “Ana Bahen”, “Share’ el-Gharam”, “Sidi Mansour”, “Barsha Barsha”, among others.

In a different context and in celebration of the World Theater Day, the play “Ahlan Ya Bakawat” will be presented. The play is written by Lenin el-Ramly and directed by Essam el- Sayed. “Ahlan Ya Bakawat” is starring Hussein Fahmy and Ezzat el-Alayli.

The play revolves around the relationship between the Egyptian and Arab societies in the future through the two classmates Burhan and Mahmoud, who later got separated. Mahmoud works as a history teacher, while Burhan received higher academic degrees and became a leading scientist.

Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem agreed with the Minister of State for Information Osama Haikal to broadcast the "Stay in the House ... Culture is in Your Hands" initiative's programs daily on Egyptian TV channels.

Head of the National Media Authority Hussein Zain set a fixed date for the broadcast on the second channel at 9 p.m. starting March 25.
