CAIRO - 10 February 2020: Brad Pitt claimed his first acting Oscar, receiving his first as an actor for his supporting role in "Once Upon a Time ... in Hollywood.
“They told me I only have 45 seconds up here, which is 45 seconds more than the Senate gave John Bolton this week” Pitt recounted in his acceptance speech.
He previously shared the best picture Oscar for ''12 Years a Slave'', which he produced and appeared in.
“ I’m thinking maybe Quentin Tarantino does a movie about it. In the end, the adults do the right thing” Pitt said.
Matthew Cherry wins Oscar for best animated short film for “Hair Love.”
“Hair Love was done because we wanted to see more representation in animation,” Cherry said in his acceptance speech on Sunday night.
"American Factory," the first film from former U.S. First Couple Barack and Michelle Obama's Higher Ground Productions, won the award for best documentary feature.
Co-directors Julia Reichert and Steven Bognar and producer Jeff Reichert took the stage to accept the award.
Reichert: "Our film is from Ohio and China — go Buckeyes!"
