CAIRO - 5 February 2020: Veteran singer Hany Shaker has completed recording his latest song “Magrouh” in which he collaborates with famed Lebanese singer Walid Toufic.
“Magrouh” is a song where Shaker collaborates with Toufic for the first time. It is also the first time Shaker presents a song using the Lebanese dialect.
The new song is composed by Toufic, and the words of Nadine el-Asaad. It is scheduled to be released within the next few days.
Shaker also collaborates in a new duo with the star Riham Abdel Hakim. The song will be released on Valentine’s Day and is titled “Eid el-Hob” (Valentine’s Day). The song is written by Ahmed Shatta and composed by Walid Mounir.
The iconic Egyptian singer is also preparing for a huge concert set to be held in Cairo’s Opera Grand Theater on Feb. 14. During the concert, Shaker is expected to present a wide variety of his most popular hits.
Recently, Shaker and Angham performed a successful concert in KSA, within the activities of Riyad Oud Festival.
The iconic singer presented a few singles in 2019, including “Bena”, “Beyes’aloni Masr Belnesbalak aih?”, among others.
