Black Theama to perform Valentine's Day concert in El-Sawy Culture Wheel

CAIRO - 3 February 2020: Egyptian band “Black Theama” is set to perform a concert on Valentine’s Day (Feb. 14) in El-Sawy Culture Wheel.

The band will present a wide variety of their most popular hits, including “Akhbar”, “Ahram”, “Gomhoreya”, “Zahma”, among others.

In addition, the band “Black Theama” performed a concert in Aswan during New Year’s celebrations presenting many of their old and new songs.

The band also participated in the activities of the Opera Summer Festival managed by the Egyptian Opera House, performing a concert in the Roman Theater in Alexandria.

Moreover, the band’s member Amir Salah el-Din, will participate in the series “Khetm el-Nemr” with Ahmed Salah Hosni and Nesreen Tafesh. The series is directed by Ahmed Samir Farag and produced by Synergy.

The band released their newest mini album entitled “Lon el Kakaw” during 2019, and achieved great success. The album consisted of five songs.

“Black Theama” is known for presenting a unique singing style that expresses the problems and dreams of young people in Egypt. They staged their first singing performances on August 7, 2004.

The band's musical genre covers a wide range of styles from Nubian rhythms, reggae, hip-hop, and R&B, to music with other African influences. Through their music, they sing to "celebrate the black experience in Egypt."
