Legendary Khairat to perform concert on Feb. 20

CAIRO - 2 February 2020: Famed Egyptian musician Omar Khairat is scheduled to perform a concert in El-Sawy Culture Wheel on Feb. 20 at 8 pm. Khairat is expected to present a variety of his most popular musicals.

The famed musician composed the soundtrack of the successful film “El-Mammar” (The Passage) that was broadcast on ON E channel during celebrations of October victory.

The film stars Ahmed Ezz, Ahmed Rizk, Eyad Nassar, Ahmed Falawkas, Mohamed Farrag, Ahmed Salah Hosni, Mohamed el-Sharnoubi, Mohamed Gomaa, Mahmoud Hafez, Amir Salah el-Din and Asmaa Abu el-Yazid. The film is written and directed by Sherif Arafa.

It is noteworthy that Khairat performed two successful concerts on Jan. 12 and 13 at the Egyptian Opera’s Grand Theater, a concert that was attended by several public figures and artists, in addition to performing a concert within Tantoura Winter Festival in KSA.

The veteran composer also performed a successful concert during the activities of the 28th Arab Music Festival, held under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and Arts, and headed by Magdy Saber.
