CAIRO - 29 December 2019: Misr University for Science and Technology revealed the most prominent features of its diverse artistic program, which is scheduled to be implemented during 2020.
The university said in a press release issued on Dec. 29 that star of the Arabic song, Carole Samaha, will perform the first concert of the university's 2020 art program.
The concert will be held on January 24 at the stage of Misr University for Science and Technology. During the concert, Samaha is expected to present her most popular hits.
The theater administration has finished preparing the artistic program under the supervision of Chairman of the Board of Trustees Khaled el-Toukhy, to present a group of concerts for singing stars from Egypt and Arab countries.
Samaha’s latest song “Insha’Allah” achieved a high number of views on YouTube. The Lebanese star also participated in her first cinematic experience in the film “Bel Sodfa”. The film was released in Beirut and Dubai. It co-starred Badi Abu Shakra, Pamela el-Keck and Munir Ma’asry. The film is directed by Bassem Christo.
It is worth noting that the administration of Misr University for Science and Technology started promoting for Samaha’s concert on social media platforms, proceeding from its societal role, which aims primarily to enrich the singing scene with a group of concerts at the university's theater that can accommodate 1,200 viewers.
