After 15 years of hiatus, Hosny, Sherine to perform together on Jan. 2020

CAIRO- 27 December 2019: After 15 years of hiatus, megastars Tamer Hosny and Sherine Abdel Wahab will perform together in a concert entitled “ Law Kont Nesset” ( If you Have Forgotten) at Al Manara Arena in January 2020.

The concert is organized by Egyptian producer Walid Mansour and the tickets for the concert will be available on Tazkarti.

Tazkarti headed by acclaimed marketing expert Montasser Al Nabarawy previously announced that it will organize a group of massive concerts to Abdel Wahab.

The first concert took place on December 20 at Al Manara Theater. Abdel Wahab presented in the concert a number of her successful songs. During this concert, Abdel Wahab sang for the first time new songs from her upcoming album.

Abdel Wahab preferred to make her comeback on stage with Tazkarti Company which managed to make a huge name.

This concert came in the framework of Tazakarti's efforts to provide entertainment service at the highest level for the Egyptian audience.

The huge success of Tazkarti attracted many stars from the Arab world to cooperate with the company to make successful huge concerts, which will take the quality of concerts in Egypt to the highest level in terms of organization and technical efficiency.

Tazkarti entered into the field of organizing concerts with a concert to famed band Cairokee, besides organizing big sports events and tournaments.

Hosny will perform on December 27 with Ramy Gamal at Al Manara Arena.

On Dec. 6 he sang a song he composed on the occasion of the UAE’s Year of Tolerance at Abu Dabi's Marina Mall.

Hosny’s audience took part in this event and Hosny broke a Guinness World Record for the most contributions to a bulletin board. The fans were allowed to leave appreciation notes for him.

Hosny will celebrate New Year's Eve in the UAE capital Abu Dhabi with a huge concert on Al Maryah Island.

Presentation Company headed by acclaimed marketing expert Montasser el- Nabarawy chose Hosny to perform at the closing ceremony of U-23 African Cup of Nations that took place on Friday, November 22.

Hosny’s latest movie ‘’ El Feloos’’ (The Money) was released in Egyptian cinemas on December 25.

The movie stars Zeina, Khaled el-Sawy, Aicha Ben Ahmed, Ahmed Fathy, and Mohamed Sarwat. Written by Mohamed Abdel Maty and directed by Said el-Marouk, the movie was originally titled "Kol Sana W Enta Tayeb".

Additionally, Hosny performed a massive concert in Egypt’s North Coast on August 30 along with the famed Gipsy Kings.

On April 6, Hosny received the Murex D’or award in Lebanon for the best male Arab singer.

It is worth mentioning that Hosny's latest song “Naseny Laih” amassed 50 million views on his official YouTube channel. The song is written by Tamer Hussain, distributed by Tamer Ali and Wesam Abdel Moneim. Hosny chose the idea of the song’s video clip which is directed by Said al-Marouk.

Hosny's most recent album "Aish Beshouak" achieved great success.

Hosny is a singer, songwriter, composer and actor. He began his musical career in 2002. His romantic music has made him "the Star of the Generation", a name given to him by his fans.

Hosny won many awards, such as Best Selling Album in 2002 from the Nile Variety channel, Best Arab Artist at Murex D’Or in 2014 and 2016, and Best Arab Artist at the Middle East Music Awards in 2015. He is also the first Arab artist to receive more than 100 million views on Anghami.

His movie “El-Badla” (The Suit) which was released in Eid El-Fitr achieved revenues that exceeded LE 50 million. In the movie, he plays the role of a police officer who finds himself involved in a number of critical situations due to the nature of his job.

“El-Badla” stars Amina Khalil, Maged el-Masry, Dalal Abdel Aziz, Hassan Hosny, and Mai Kassab, among others. The movie is written by Ayman Bahagat Kamar and directed by Mando el-Adl. Hosny announced that “El-Badla” achieved the highest revenues in the history of the Egyptian cinema.

In August 2017, Hosny headed to Los Angeles and had his hand print and footprint permanently engraved on the Forecourt of the Stars at Hollywood's iconic Chinese Theatre.

Hosny’s song "Eish Beshoqak" also amassed millions of views directly after it had been released on his official channel on YouTube. "Eish Beshoqak" was composed by Mostafa Hassan, distributed by Hany Mahrous and Bilal Sorour and directed by Hadi el-Bagoury.

The video clip of "Eish Beshoqak" shows Hosny meeting with people in the streets and trying to draw a smile on their faces despite of the problems they face daily.

Hosny hit the one-billion views mark on all his songs on his YouTube channel on September 2, 2018.

“A billion thanks for the more than 1 billion views on Tamer Hosny’s official YouTube channel,” stated Hosny on his official Facebook page.

Hosny attracted the largest audience in his concert in Khobar Festival.

The star was the first Arab pop singer to perform a concert in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on March 30, 2018. The concert witnessed the attendance of thousands of Saudis, about 90 percent of whom were women.

The concert was held under the auspices of the Saudi General Entertainment Authority, which stated that Hosny was chosen to perform such a huge concert because of his popularity among all Saudis.

Also, Hosny performed in the opening ceremony of Abu Dhabi 2019 Special Olympics World Summer Games on March 14. Hosny performed alongside renowned Syrian singer Assala, Emirati star Hussein al- Jasmi, Puerto Rican star Luis Fonsi and Canadian pop star Avril Lavigne.

The song was a motivational animated performance entitled “Right where I'm supposed to Be". It was performed in English, Spanish and Arabic.

Hosni and Fonsi met at the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi amidst a group of fans. The two stars sat together and talked about their future projects.

Hosny revealed to Egypt Today that he was proud to represent Egypt in this event as it is considered the most important Arab event in the current period.
