'El-Floos' surpasses LE 1M in revenues on 1st day in theaters

CAIRO - 26 December 2019: The movie "El-Floos" starring Tamer Hosni achieved revenues of LE 1.7 million on the first day of its screening at the box office. The film was released in movie theaters across Egypt on Dec. 25.

It is expected that its revenues will increase in the coming days, especially with the mid-year vacation coming up in the month of January.

A special screening of the film was held on Dec. 24, and was attended by the film’s cast Tamer Hosni, Zina, Khaled el-Sawi, Aisha bin Ahmed, director Saeed al-Marouk, and the dancer Gawhara, in addition to a large number of celebrities including Ali Rabei, Hana el-Zahed, Pousy Shalaby, Ahmed Gamal Saeed, Yehya Hamza, Hala Shiha, Hakim, Akram Hosni, Hisham Maged, Omar al-Saeed, Mina Ata, Galal el-Zaki, Yasmine el-Beshbishi, the author Mohamed Abdel Moti and his wife Farah Ali, among others.

The film revolves around Seif, a professional scammer, a beautiful and rich girl named Hala turns to seif to help her retain her money from another scammer, using a series of tricks in which the concepts of love, life and friendship are mixed.

"El-Floos" is based on Tamer Hosni's story, and the script and dialogue are written by Mohamed Abdel Moti. Directed by Saeed al-Marouk, the film also stars Khaled el-Sawy, Zeina, Mohamed Salam, Aisha bin Ahmed, and others, in addition to a number of stars appearing as guests of honor, such as Ahmed el-Sakka and Mai Ezz El-Din.

The film production company launched the second and official promo on Dec. 15 after it launched the first promo several months ago. Hosni also released the movie's theme song on Dec. 19, titled "Helw el-Makan", written by Ahmed el-Malki, composed by Mohamed Yehya and distributed by Amadeo.
