CAIRO – 25 October 2019: Lebanese star Elissa will perform a massive concert in MUST Opera House in October city on December 13.
The heartthrob singer will perform in Alexandria on December 12. This concert will be the first to Elissa in Egypt after her previous decision to quit singing.
Elissa is scheduled to perform as well in Mexico in November.
On October 3, Elissa directed a message to all women to raise awareness of breast cancer in the month of awareness of the disease (October), encouraging all women to undergo early tests.
“October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, my case, my story and my strength, if you're a woman, see your doctor for regular check-ups." tweeted Elissa on her official twitter account.
“Encourage all women around you to undergo early detection tests to make the healing process easier, for yourself and for all those who love you" continued Elissa.
She will also perform a massive concert at the Olympia Hall at Paris on November 1.
On August 19, Elissa surprised her audience with shocking news that she is retiring, stressing that the album she is currently working on will be the last in her singing career.
"I am preparing this new album with a lot of love and passion. The reason is that it will be the last one in my career.
I am announcing this with a heavy heart but with a lot of conviction because I can’t work in a field that is similar to mafias. I can’t be productive anymore," Elissa commented on her Twitter account.
Elissa recently presented the song "Abl ay Had" (Before Anyone) promoting for a major telecom company in Egypt. The song is written by Tamer Habib and composed by Ehab Abdel Wahed.
The song/commercial is the production of Synergy and has received positive reactions on social media platforms.
Elissa 's latest work was a video clip for the song "Karhani" off her last album "Ella kol Elly Behbouni" (To all those who love me).
It is a song in the Lebanese dialect written by Ali el-Mawla, composed by Fadel Suleiman and directed by Angy Gamal.
On February 4, in conjunction with the International Day of Cancer, Lebanese singer Elissa was keen to launch an awareness campaign, asking Lebanese people to detect this disease early.
"Cancer is present now in every family in Lebanon; we can’t ignore it anymore," Elissa previously wrote on her Twitter account.
Elissa performed a concert in Egypt on January 18. The yield of the concert was fully dedicated to Egyptian breast cancer patients. Elissa previously expressed her happiness for being chosen to be the ambassador of the breast cancer awareness campaign.
“I am proud to be the ambassador of the national campaign to combat breast cancer," said the star during the campaign.
Elissa revealed having breast cancer in her latest clip "Ela Kol Ely Beyheboony" (To All Those Who Love Me), in which she shed light on her struggle with the disease and her recovery.
Elissa is one of Lebanon's most famous singers and one of the best known artists in the Arab world. She was the best-selling female Middle Eastern artist for 2005 and 2009.
In 2005, 2006 and 2010, she received the World Music Award for Best Selling Middle Eastern Artist, and became the first Lebanese singer to receive the World Music Award for Best Selling Middle Eastern Artist.
It is worth mentioning that he Lebanese star has sold over 30 million albums worldwide.
Elissa is also one of the richest celebrities in Lebanon, with an estimated wealth of over $40 million. As of 2017, Elissa has had over 44 million followers on social media.
