CAIRO - 24 October 2019: Head of the Islamic, Coptic and Jewish Antiquities Sector Gamal Mustafa stated that the accumulated rain water in archaeological sites had been removed to ensure safety.
Mustafa asserted that all the archaeological sites are in good condition and were not adversely affected by the rain. This was confirmed during the inspection tour conducted by the heads of central departments and managers of all archaeological areas of the sector. Mustafa further stressed that the ministry will remain in a state of emergency until the end of the current wave of climate unrest.
