A glimpse on January’s film season

CAIRO - 15 October 2019: The Egyptian box office will be witnessing a fierce competition in January as a new film season will unfold during the mid-year vacation.

El-Feloos (Money)

Superstar Tamer Hosny’s film “El-Feloos” (Money) will be released on January 3. This is the first artistic cooperation uniting Hosny with director Saeed el-Marouq. The film revolves around a modern-day con artist who suddenly decides to stop his dirty work.

“El-Feloos” stars Tamer Hosny, Zeina, Khaled el-Sawy, Mohamed Sallam, Aisha bin Ahmed, and Nancy Salah. Ahmed el-Sakka, Mai Ezz el-Din, Ali Rabie and Wizo all appear as guests of honor. The much anticipated film is written by Mohamed Abdel Moty.

Les Baghdad (Thief of Baghdad)

Film director Ahmed Khaled Mousa is currently putting the final touches on the film to be released on January 18. “Les Baghdad” is starring Mohammed Imam, Fathi Abdel Wahab, Yasmin Raes, Amina Khalil, Mohamed Abdel Rahman Touta, Salah Abdullah and Ahmed Rizk. It is written by Tamer Ibrahim and produced by Synergy Film Productions.

Dido

"Dido" stars Karim Fahmy and will be competing with the aforementioned films during the month of January 2020. “Dido” also stars Hamdy el-Merghany, Ahmed Fathy, Mohamed Tharwat, Bayoumi Fouad and a number of other stars. Also, Ahmed Fahmy, Hisham Maged and Chico feature as guests of honor. The film is directed by Amro Salah.
