CAIRO - 13 June 2017: The Culture Ministry will be launching Ramadan-themed events on Tuesday until the end of Ramadan, at several cultural venues.
Some of the events include a concert by the School of Religious Songs at the Palace of Prince Taz, a theater play titled ‘A Stage Everywhere’ at Beit El-Sehemy, a seminar titled ‘The Architect and Music’ at The Egyptian House of Architects, and film screening that will commence during the entire month of Ramadan at El-Hanager Cinema.
Other shows include ‘Surrender’ at the Creative Center in Cairo, a fine arts exhibition at Effat Nagy and Saad Al-Khadem museum, and an artistic show at El-Hanager Center for Arts.
The Supreme Council for Culture will also launch a seminar titled ‘Women figures in Drama Shows,’ according to the ministry’s released statement. The National Center for Children’s Culture will organize fine arts and storytelling workshops through the month at the Cultural Park in Sayeda Zeinab district.
The General Egyptian Authority for Books is organizing a workshop to teach Heliographic for children and a seminar by a variety of poets including prominent author Youssef Idris at the Book Fair in Faisal district.
Other cultural events are hosted by Egyptian National Library and Archives include seminars, drawing and painting workshops. Music performances will be carried out by Morocco and Algeria in Moez Street.
