Assi el-Hellani to perform in Cairo Opera House on Nov. 8

CAIRO - 2 October 2019: Lebanese star Assi el-Hellani is scheduled to perform a concert in the Egyptian Opera House on Nov. 8 as part of the Arab Music Festival’s 28th edition.

Hellani is expected to perform a wide selection of his old and new songs, in addition to presenting numerous surprises to the audience during the concert.

The Lebanese star recently cheated death as he slipped into a coma after falling off his horse during equestrian. He stayed for several days in the hospital, where late director Simon Asmar -who discovered Hallani at the beginning of his career-was also hospitalized.

In a different context, Hellani’s new song “Edhaky” amassed over 3 million views on YouTube. The song is written by Amer Lawend and composed by Ali Hassoun.

Hellani is currently putting the final touches on his latest album, which is expected to be released on numerous social media platforms in the upcoming period. In his new album, the Lebanese star collaborates with many poets and composers, and performes more than one song in the Egyptian dialect.
