LAFF revealed names of Film Selection Committee members

CAIRO - 24 September 2019: The Luxor African Film Festival named the members of the Film Selection Committee for its ninth edition, scheduled to run from March 6 - 12, 2020.

Director of the festival Azza el-Husseini revealed the names of the committee as follows: Director Saad Hendawi, Salwa Mohamed Ali, Director Ahmed Fawzi Saleh, Director Ahmed Rashwan, critic Amal al-Gamal and critic Osama Abdel Fattah.

The festival’s management has launched the application forms for participation in the competitions of the festival’s ninth edition, which started from September 15 to December 15, 2019, to be films produced in 2019 and for African directors residing inside and outside of Africa.

The application forms are available on the festival’s website in Arabic, English and French.

The Luxor African Film Festival is organized by the Young Independent Artists Foundation with the support of the Ministries of Culture, Foreign Affairs, Tourism, Youth and the National Bank of Egypt in cooperation with the Governorate of Luxor and the Syndicate of Film Professions.
