CAIRO - 18 September 2019: Egyptian Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem, arrived in the Angolan capital Luanda on Sept. 17, accompanied by Deputy Foreign Minister for African Affairs Hamdi Sanad and Director of the National Academy for Training and Rehabilitation of Youth Rasha Ragheb.

The Egyptian delegation traveled to Luanda to participate in the Biennale of Luanda - Pan-African Forum For the Culture of Peace.

During the visit, the Minister will witness the launch of the first edition of the Biennale of Luanda - Pan-African Forum For the Culture of Peace from Sept. 18 to 22.

The Egyptian delegation was welcomed upon arrival by Ambassador of Egypt in Angola Khaled Hassan, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for International Cooperation Tati Antonio, and Nelson Cosme, the Angolan Ambassador who is nominated to represent his country at its Embassy in Egypt.

It is expected that the Egyptian Minister of Culture will hold several meetings with the officials of culture and arts in the Angolan capital during the period of the forum to present and study many artistic and intellectual projects aimed at strengthening the bonds of friendship and cooperation between Egypt and various countries of the continent, through soft power as one of the most important means of communication between cultures.

It is noteworthy that the first edition of the Biennale of Luanda - Pan-African Forum For the Culture of Peace will be attended by eight heads of state, government officials representing the four African regions and a number of international figures.
