The organization changed its name to the Biennale Foundation in 2009, while the exhibition is now called the Art Biennale. Egypt is one of the first countries to participate in the Biennale competition.
Participating countries will compete in demonstrating their best architectural works. The Biennale awards give international fame and merit to the recipients, positively reflecting on the winners and the countries they represent.
