CAIRO - 28 August 2019: Famed actress Sawsan Badr announced that she will not be able to partcipate at the third edition of El Gouna Film Festival as a member of the jury for the feature films category because she has to undergo a surgery in her knees.
Badr previously expressed her pride after being selected as a member of the jury for the feature films category at the third edition of GFF l.
Badr uploaded a photo of the invitation, through her official account on Instagram, commenting: “I am proud to be a member of the feature film jury at the third edition of El Gouna Film Festival, thank you.”
El Gouna Film Festival announced during the festival’s press conference that the jury of the feature film competition includes Egyptian actress Sawsan Badr, while the jury of the feature documentary competition features prominent fashion designer Nahed Nasrallah.
Iconic film director Marwan Hamed heads the jury of the short film competition, which includes Tunisian actress Dorra Zarrouk, whom Egyptians consider one of them.
