El Gouna Film Festival Press Conference held on Aug. 26

CAIRO - 26 August 2019: El Gouna Film Festival held a press conference on Aug. 26 to announce the details of the festival and the most important events set to take place during the third edition.

The festival’s third edition, which will be held from Sept. 19 to 27, aims to bring together filmmakers in the region with their counterparts from all around the world with the aim of developing the spirit of cultural exchange.

This goal isreinforced by the festival's firm commitment to discovering new filmmakers who can advance the Arab film industry as more than 80 films compete.

The press conference was attended by Founder of El Gouna Film Festival NaguibSawiris, Founder of El Gouna and official sponsor of the festival SamihSawiris, CEO and Managing Director of Orascom Development Egypt KhaledBishara, Executive Director of the festival AmrMansy and the festival’s Director IntichalTamimi.

Moreover, the festival was attended by many international celebrities and experts in the filmmaking industry.
