CAIRO - 20 August 2019: Singer Mostafa Kamel has released a new video clip titled “Mogrem” (Criminal) through his official YouTube channel.
The song is written and composed by Kamel and directed by Haitham Antar.
Kamel was a candidate in the Music Syndicate elections competing against veteran singer Hany Shaker.
Shaker was elected as the Head of the Music Syndicate.
Mostafa Kamel is an Egyptian singer. Throughout his career, he released several albums such as “Toul El wakt”, “Ekrahiny”, “Rehlt 3omry”, “Hadoos Ala Alby”, “Etklmy”, “Eshta Yaba”, “ Album Sowar”, “7ekayty Ana”. He is not only a singer but a song writer too, He wrote songs for the most famous Egyptian artists including Amr Diab, Mohamed Mounir, Hany Shaker and Mohamed Fouad.

Kamel is an Egyptian multi-talented artist born in Cairo, on August 22,1970. His first artistic experience was as a lyricist. He was already amazing because he wrote the lyrics to the sad song Mersal performed by Alaa Abdul Khalek.
The star appeared on the scene as a great upcoming lyricist who was dealing with famous artists such as Hani Shaker, Amr Diab, and Mohamed Tawfik.
Later on, Kamel turned into composing. His first songs were co-worked with Mohamed Fouad. In 1994, he composed a hit single for Hani Shaker entitled “Ya Ritni”.
After an experience of writing and composing, the popular Kamel entered the world of the performance of songs. He released six successful albums, which were very well received by the audience.
He also played in one movie “Kechta Ya Baba”, directed by Atef Chokri and co-acted by Salah Abdallah and Jihene Fadhel. He released his last album “Thalath Marrat”, in 2009.
The famed singer is dubbed the “king of sadness” due to the sad spirit of his songs and lyrics.
He is still active and is considered as one of the best young male multi-talented artists in the Arab music world.
