Large number of audience attend Jennifer Lopez 1st concert in Egypt

CAIRO – 9 August 2019: Jennifer Lopez, one of Hollywood’s most successful performers and Hip-hop icons, will perform her first-ever concert in Egypt’s North Coast today.





Large number of audience attended this long awaited concert. Egyptian celebrities such as Mona Zaki, Ahmed Helmy, Hussein Fahmy, Mostafa Fahmy, Egypt's Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Sahar Nasr, Egyptian minister of finance Mohamed Maait, Egyptian businessman Naguib Sawiris, Bushra, Mahmoud el Essily among others.





World-famous star Jennifer Lopez previously expressed her great enthusiasm for her concert set to be held in Egypt on Friday, August 9 in the North Coast.




“It will be a new experience,” stated Lopez to the press, adding in Arabic "I will see you soon." This is Lopez' first concert in Egypt.




The international star indicated that her son is excited to visit Egypt, saying “My son is very excited to visit Egypt and he doesn't stop saying I want to go, I want to go."

There were calls on social media to cancel the event as the international star showed support to Israel. Reactions to the calls varied. However, sources confirmed that the concert will be held on time in the new city of El Alamein.
The concert will be in celebration of her birthday, and that’s why the name of the tour is "It's My Party" and a huge number of fans is expected to attend.

Three types of tickets will be presented to the fans: Standing tickets, golden circle tickets and VIP tickets.

The first type will be sold for LE 1,350, the second comes at a price of LE 2,000 and the final type will be sold for LE 3,500.

Jennifer Lynn López is an American actress, singer, dancer and producer. In 1991, López started as a fly girl dancer on "In Living Color", where she remained a regular until she decided to pursue an acting career in 1993.

With a cumulative film gross of US$3 billion and estimated global sales of 80 million records, López is regarded as the most influential Latin performer in the United States. In 2012, Forbes ranked her as the most powerful celebrity in the world, as well as the 38th most powerful woman in the world.

Time listed her among the 100 most influential people in the world in 2018. Her most successful singles on the US Billboard Hot 100 include: "If You Had My Love", "Love Don't Cost a Thing", "I'm Real", "Ain't It Funny", "Jenny from the Block", "All I Have", and "On the Floor", which is one of the best-selling singles of all time.

For her contributions to the music industry, López has received a landmark star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the Billboard Icon Award and the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award among other honors.

Her other ventures include clothing lines, fragrances, a production company, and a charitable foundation.
