Jennifer Lopez to perform in New Alamein City on Aug. 9

CAIRO - 8 August 2019: World-famous star Jennifer Lopez expressed her great enthusiasm for her concert set to be held in Egypt on Friday, August 9 in the North Coast.

“It will be a new experience,” stated Lopez to the press, adding in Arabic "I will see you soon." This is Lopez' first concert in Egypt.

The international star indicated that her son is excited to visit Egypt, saying “My son is very excited to visit Egypt and he doesn't stop saying I want to go, I want to go."

There were calls on social media to cancel the event as the international star showed support to Israel. Reactions to the calls varied. However, sources confirmed that the concert will be held on time in the new city of El Alamein.
