Fulbright offers research opportunities for Egyptian art, heritage professionals

CAIRO - 30 July 2019: The US Fulbright Commission in Egypt has announced the opening of the Egyptian research scholar grants in the United States.

The program provides opportunities for faculty members of universities and researchers in Egyptian research centers and institutes to conduct post-doctoral research in America. It also provides professionals working in the department of arts and heritage with opportunities to conduct research and participate in academic programs to strengthen their administrative and organizational capacities.

The conditions of admission stipulate that the applicant must be Egyptian living in Egypt from the date of submission to the program through the selection process and pre-travel procedures, to the date of travel, and to have a doctorate degree. Applicants from the department of arts and heritage must also hold a bachelor’s degree. Applicants must have excellent command of English.

The post-doctoral research grants cover all majors except clinical research in human medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine and any other specialties. The grant includes research costs, accommodation, health insurance and accommodation expenses. The deadline for submission is August 22, 2019.
