Haitham Shaker releases promo clip of 'Matwasonesh'

CAIRO - 23 July 2019: Star Haitham Shaker released the promo clip of his new song “Matwasonesh” days before the launch of his latest albums.

The song is written by Ayman Bahgat Amar, composed by Amr Mostafa and distributed by Sherif Mekkawi. The video clip -filmed in Athens, Greece- is directed by Greek director Yannis Demolitas.

"The preparation period for this album lasted more than 5 years. I am used to surprising the audience always and I am optimistic about their reaction,” said Shaker.

"I enjoyed shooting the clip in Greece in which I appear in a new style using new filming techniques. The song 'Matwasonesh' is the most important song in the album and I wish it gains the appraisal of the audience,” resumed Shaker.

This came days after Shaker launched the promo of the song “Yama Yama” on his official accounts on various social networking sites. Comments on the teaser confirm the public's enthusiasm for the latest album of the star, after a hiatus of 5 years.

Haitham Shaker is an Egyptian singer who appeared for the first time in 2001 with the song “Ahlef Bellah” (I swear to God), in collaboration with distributor Hamid al-Shaeri and producer Fayez Aziz. The song achieved great success.

In 2004, Shaker released his first album “Khalik Gambi” (Stay by my side), one of his most successful albums, where the song exceeded 7 million views on YouTube. After 4 years, he returned to the art scene with a new album in 2008, which has been very much in the minds of the audience, especially the songs of “Gowa Hodnak” (In your arms), and “Ayami Maak” (My days with you).

In 2011, Shaker launched a single titled "Asli Adeem" (I am experienced) which he filmed as a concert. In 2014, the star released the album “Ahla Karar” (The best decision), in which he collaborated with the most prominent composers and poets including Ahmed Salah Hosni, Toma, Tamim, and Rami Gamal.
