Ayamna el Helwa to launch Alex, Damanhur Summer Festival

CAIRO - 21 July 2019: Ayamna el Helwa band, led by maestro Mohamed Osman, will launch on July 22 the events of the Opera Summer Festival in Alexandria and Damanhour, under the supervision of Magdy Baghdadi, head of the Opera House.

The Opera Summer Festival in Alexandria and Damanhour combines rich artistic colors. It comes within the strategy to enhance the Egyptian human capital through the provision of creative colors and conveying several positive messages to young people, encouraging them to embrace arts that carry precious values and develop awareness.

In Alexandria, the festival presents a varied artistic program including 25 concerts in three theaters: The Roman Theater, Sayed Darwish Theater (Alexandria Opera House) and Damanhur Opera House.

A group of stars and promising Egyptian and Arab talents will participate in the festival, including Ayamna el Helwa band, Medhat Saleh in cooperation with international Pianist Amro Selim, Masar Egbari, Black Theama, West el balad, Soundtrack orchestra, Tamer Ashour, Nesma Mahgoub, Khaled Selim, Marimba player Nesma Abdel Aziz, and Eman el Bahr Darwish, among others.

It is worth mentioning that Ayamna el Helwa will perform in the concert a collection of musical works from the early nineties, in addition to an outstanding collection of Arabic music, and a selection of monologues.
