Okaz newspaper stated that Saudi Arabia authorities may issue a decision in the coming period banning 112 books by the controversial Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi.

Okaz newspaper stated that the Ministry of Culture and Information is preparing to embargo 112 of Yusuf al-Qaradawi’s books following his inclusion in the terrorism watch list, especially as most of his books carry much of the Muslim Brotherhood's ideology and the rules of their work. The only exceptions are the ‘’ElHalal w ElHaram fe El islam’’ (Halal and Haram in Islam) and Fekeh El zaka (Jurisprudence of Zakat) books.

Qaradawi, an Egyptian by birth, is a Qatari theologian who is currently the head of the international Union of Muslim Scholars in Doha. He is a leading figure of the outlawed Muslim Brotherhood. Qaradawi was put on the terrorism watch list after being accused of escaping Wadi El Natrun prison, dropping his Egyptian citizenship, inciting violence against Egypt and joining a terrorist organization. He articulated his permission of suicide bombing if required by the group. He is banned from entering the US, UK and France.
