Truth about Mohamed Mounir’s health

CAIRO - 20 June 2019: Rumors have recently spread that famed singer Mohamed Mounir was going through a health crisis, which led him to undergo an urgent surgery in a hospital in Germany.

Distributor Sherif Nour, the leader of Mounir’s music band, clarified the truth about the news that went viral on his official Facebook account commenting: “I have no idea why some people have nothing better to do than spread rumors. Rumors regarding the health situation of Mohamed Mounir deteriorating went viral. I became extremely worried about him because he did not inform me of such a thing. I decided to call him, and found out he was having a night out and was enjoying himself, but such posts ruined his mood.”

It is noteworthy that Mounir is preparing to perform a concert at Jerash Festival of Culture and Arts' 34th edition, which will be held in Jordan from July 18 to 28; this performance will witness Mounir’s return to the festival after an absence of nearly 17 years.
