CAIRO - 17 June 2019: Singer Nesma Mahgoub is preparing to perform a concert at the Opera House's Open Theater as part of the summer festival evenings on June 20 at 8 p.m.
During the concert, Mahgoub is scheduled to sing a distinctive collection of her well-known songs as well as the songs of the stars of the golden era, including; “Alf leila wa leila” (1000 nights), “Bel’Aks” (Opposite), “Ahsan Nas” (The best people), in addition to a selection of songs of prominent Lebanese singer Fairouz.
The young artist has been associated with music since her childhood. She started singing at the age of 10 and then received training at the Opera House for 7 years. Mahgoub was able to sing in several languages besides her piano mastery.
Her real breakthrough came on the artistic scene through her participation in a talent program, where she won the first place after a fierce competition with a number of participants from different Arab countries. Since then, Mahgoub has managed to build a wide fan base.
