'Blue Elephant P II' to be released in summer

CAIRO - 19 May 2019: The much anticipated film “Blue Elephant P II” is set to be released in the upcoming summer season. The film is the production of Synergy.

Actor Karim Abdel Aziz uploaded a picture uniting him with the film’s cast, commenting: “Last day of filming the 'Blue Elephant P II'... Summer 2019.” The "Blue Elephant P II" brings together a large number of stars and guests of honor, including Zafer Abdeen, Eyad Nassar, Asma Sherif Mounir, among others. The film is also an investment for the success of the first part, which achieved great revenues at the time of its release in 2014.

The second part of the "Blue Elephant" features the same cast of the first part, led by director Marwan Hamid and author Ahmed Murad. The film is starring Karim Abdel Aziz and Nelly Karim. Tunisian actress Hend Sabry also joins the cast. Jordanian star Eyad Nassar participates as a guest of honor playing a significant role.

The first part of the film tells the story of Dr. Yehya, who returns after 5 years of elective isolation to work at Abbasiya Mental Health Hospital in the section that observes the mental health of criminals. Yehya -Karim Abde Aziz- ends up meeting an old friend who carries a very dark past which he tries hard to forget. Yehya encounters numerous surprises that turn his life over, changing his efforts to find the truth about his friend into a journey of discovering himself.
