CAIRO - 8 May 2019: The monitoring committee of Ramadan’s series detected a number of violations in the first episode of one of the series.
The report highlighted that the series’ episodes showed profane language that is not appropriate for the holy month, where one of the stars of the series said “Zaghlala the son of a …” among other inappropriate statements.
Furthermore, in a different series a number of violations were also spotted including a number of phrases that fall under slander and profanity.
Issued by the Supreme Council for Media, the report pointed out that the series was interrupted by three intervals of advertisement each ranging from a minute to three minutes.
The report also revealed that one of the series consisted of many inappropriate words, sexual implications and scenes of drugs abuse and drinking alcohol.
