CAIRO – 27 April 2019: Jordanian star Saba Mubarak will join the 2019 Ramadan race with a new TV series entitled Obour. Saba is starring in and producing the new TV series that will air on Abu Dhabi TV.
Obour tells the stories of a number of refugees and workers from different nationalities in the Mrajeeb Al Fhood Camp, financed by the UAE in Jordan, featuring the humanitarian side in these camps, and emphasizing the feelings of love, hope and their will to live.
Saba expressed her pride in participating in this TV series, and how she is glad to have had the opportunity to join the refugees in their daily lives and listen first-hand to their different stories.
In Ramadan 2018, Mubarak played the lead role in Tayea TV series where she played Mohga. The TV series was widely discussed on Twitter after the episode of her murder.
The series revolves around Tayea, a young man from Upper Egypt who graduated from the faculty of medicine.
Tayea has a strong opinion concerning revenge customs in Upper Egypt and he suddenly finds himself involved in a number of crimes, including antiquities smuggling.
The series staring beside Saba Amr Youssef, Amr Abdel Geleel and Soheir el-Morshedy co-star in this series directed by Amr Salama.
