'Weld el-Ghalaba', 'Talket Haz' to be broadcast in Ramadan

CAIRO - 16 April 2019: Egypt Today sheds light on two of the television series set to be broadcast in Ramadan 2019, “Weld el-Ghalaba” (Son of the poor) and “Talket Haz” (Luck strike).

Weld el-Ghalaba

The series is starring famed Egyptian actor Ahmed el-Sakka, Mohamed Mamdouh, Engy al-Moqadem, Mai Omar, Edward, Hadi el-Gayyar, among others.

The series revolves around a poor man originating from Upper Egypt (Sakka). The man is forced to work two jobs in order to meet his needs. During the mornings, the man works as a teacher in a governmental school, while at night he works as a taxi driver.

The man struggles with numerous financial and social obstacles, eventually pushing him to work as a drug dealer.

The much anticipated series is written by Ayman Salama and directed by Mohamed Samy. It is labeled as an action/drama.

TalketHaz

“Talket Haz” (Lucky strike) is starring Mustafa Khater, Ayten Amer, Ahmed Maher, Inaam Salousa, Hosny Shatta, Mirna Nooruddin, among others.

The comedy screenplay revolves around a man that faces numerous problems with his four sisters who do not get along with his wife. However, the man’s wife supports her husband as he faces his vicious sisters. The series is written by Ihab Beleilbal and directed by Ahmed Amin.
