‘El-Mamar’ trailer attracts audience attention

CAIRO – 15April 2019: The trailer of the Egyptian patriotic movie “El-Mamar” (The Passage) amassed over 1million views in two days.



“El-Mamar” (The Passage) revolves around the heroic sacrificesof the Egyptian Special Forces combatants during the War of Attrition. The movie is directed by SherifArafa and stars Ahmed Ezz. The film is expected to be released during the Muslim celebrations of Eid al-Fitr in 2019.

Ahmed Ezz el-Dine Ali Ezzat was born and raised in Maadi district in Cairo. He majored in English Literature and earned his bachelor's degree from Ain Shams University.
He also modelled while working in the field of tourism.
