Laila Elwi attends Mediterranean Sea Conference in Greece

CAIRO - 15 April 2019: Actress Laila Elwi participated in the Mediterranean Sea Conference “Our Sea. Our Nation” held on April 13 in Greece to promote development initiatives and encourage commercial networks between Greece, Cyprus and Egypt by supporting the common cultural elements of the three countries.

Elwi stated that the purpose of the conference is to enhance relations between Greece, Cyprus and Egypt through innovative cultural initiatives and to create a network of specialists in the field of broad culture that will intervene creatively in the content development. That is in addition to benefiting from the fixed cultural concept of the countries of eastern and southern Mediterranean, while highlighting the opportunities that will be created in the future.

Elwi attended the first section of the conference “Lights, Cameras, Action” and was among the speakers of the symposium. Greek deputy minister of communication, president of the National Council for Audiovisual and Visual Media and the general manager of Investment in Cyprus were among the participants in the symposium.
