CAIRO – 8 April 2019: Famed American boxer Mike Tayson finished shooting his role in the Egyptian movie “Hamlet Pharon” (Pharon Campaign) alongside Egyptian star Amr Saad.
Before leaving Egypt, Tayson made a photoshoot in front og Giza Pyramids.
Tayson arrived in Cairo on Saturday, March 16 to portray the role of one of the Mafia leaders in the movie.
“Hamlet Pharon” revolves around an Egyptian young man named Yehia who is the leader of one of the biggest assassination gangs. Because of special circumstances, Yehia will be forced to go to Syria to rescue the girl he loves.
Saad posted on his official Instagram account a video revealing his preparations for the role.
Beside Tayson and Saad, the movie stars a notable cast of actors including Ruby, Mahmoud Abdel Moghny, Hamdy el-Marghany, Ramez Amir, and Mohamed Lotfy among others.
Famed Belgian actor Jean-Claude Van Damme will participate in the “Hamlet Pharon” alongside renowned Tayson and Saad.
Van Damme will arrive in Egypt on April 10 to shoot his scenes which are scheduled to be 12 scenes. “Hamlet Pharon” is written by Karim Hassan Beshir and directed by Raouf Abdel Aziz.
