Cairo Media Conference 2 kicks off April 3 in AUC

CAIRO - 4 April 2019: The second edition of the Cairo Media Conference of the American University kicked off on April 3.

The conference was held in the presence of a number of journalists and media professionals.

Former Minister of Foreign Affairs Nabil Farouk and Head of the Press and Information Department at the American University Firas al-Atraqchi delivered an opening speech on the importance of cooperation between the academic and practical communities.

They gave examples of past experiences that achieved remarkable success on this basis.

In its second edition, the Cairo Media Conference highlights the latest developments in the media field by presenting case studies from Egypt, the Arab world and Europe.

Running on April 3 and 4, the conference includes several seminars on the reality of journalism and media with the participation of local and foreign journalists.
