CAIRO - 26 March 2019: The Supreme Council of Culture, represented by Said el-Masry, will hold a cultural meeting entitled "Visual Arts, a Dialogue between Egypt and Africa" organized by the Fine Arts Committee.
The meeting is set to be held on March 26 at 6 p.m. at the Supreme Council of Culture.
The meeting will include presentations given by a number of representatives of African countries, diplomats, critics and visual artists.
The meeting will be moderated by Suheir Osman, rapporteur of the Fine Arts Committee of the Council, and Egyptian critic Mona Abdel Karim will give a speech about the fine art and cultural interactions between Egypt and Africa.
Additionally, Smbassador of Senegal to Egypt Tala Fall, Chad's ambassador to Egypt, Latifa al-Gaddafi from Libya, Sudanese fine artist Moataz al-Imam, Ahmed Amd from Eretria, Fatma Baroudy from Algeria, South African Ambassador to Egypt and Antonio Mishingo from Zimbabwe will all take part in the dialogue.
The participants and the audience will move to the exhibition hall at the Hanager Art Theater to launch the Fine Art Exhibition organized by the Fine Arts Committee which includes works of 60 artists from Egypt and different African countries. The exhibition will run until March 28.
