Cairo Opera House celebrates Mother’s Day

CAIRO - 21 March 2019: On the occasion of Mother's Day, the Egyptian Opera House headed by Magdy Saber; organized a concert for Children Choir and Youth classes on March 21 at 8 p.m.

The concert is set to take place on the theater of the Institute of Arabic Music under the supervision of musician Abdul Wahab al-Sayed.

Led by Maestro Mohamed Abdel Sattar, the concert’s program includes a selection of songs to celebrate the occasion as well as a number of national songs such as “Hayo el-Alam” (Greet the flag), “Al-Bedaya” (the beginning), “Tazim Salam”, “Alameno fe Madrasetna” (They taught us at school), among others.

The Talent Development Center aims to raise the artistic taste and support talented individuals in various fields of arts. The center consists of a group of qualified academics to discover and refine talents, and hold concerts for students at the end of each academic semester to encourage them to excel and appreciate their effort during the semester.

The center also participates in numerous distinguished events in the Egyptian Opera House.
