Mai Farouk guest of honor in Selim Sahab’s concert

CAIRO - 14 March 2019: Singer Mai Farouk will be the guest of honor in the concert led by veteran musician Selim Sahab that is set to be held at Cairo Opera House's Grand Theatre on March 14.

The ceremony marks Sahab’s return to operate concerts at the opera after a long hiatus.

Farouk expressed her deep happiness to be guest of honor of the concert that gathers a wide number of Egyptian music icons such a Mohamed el-Helw and Reham Abdel Hakim.

Farouk declared that she will perform late Umm Kulthum’s “Enta el-Hob” (You are my love), which was composed by late legendary musician Mohamed Abdel Wahab.

The ceremony is named after late Abdel Wahab and all the songs that will be performed will be from his everlasting works.
