Egypt optimistic about fruitful cooperation with China in field of antiquities

BEIJING, March 4 (MENA) - Egyptian Minister of Antiquities Khaled el Anani said he is optimistic about fruitful cooperation between Egypt and China in the field of antiquities.

In statements to Xinhua, Anani said on Monday that the Egyptian-Chinese ties are exceptional and good.

Anani said Egypt has inked a memorandum of understanding with the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.

A Chinese archaeological mission started its work in Egypt in November in Monto Temple in Luxor.
