Sharmoofers releases new song

CAIRO - 25 February 2019: The famed Egyptian music band Sharmoofers released a new song from their album “Enfesam” (Schizophrenia). The new song is entitled “Donya” (World).

The song's lyrics are bizarre and embed hidden meanings.

Just three days after the launch of the song "Raqast" and nearly a week after the release of the video clip of the main album "Enfesam", Sharmoofers suddenly revealed a new song from the album without prior announcement, despite the album’s official launching announcement that was set to be made in a concert on Friday, March 8.

It seems like the band will rely on this “surprising” method when releasing singles, as a promotional means for their album on social media platforms.

In 2012, Ahmed Bahaa and Mohamed El Arkan got together and formed Sharmoofers; since then they’ve been impacting the world’s youth with positive groovy music.

Sharmoofers were granted the MEMA Awards, Digital Media Presence Award and the ACA Awards nomination. The band reclaims themselves as an independent band with no affiliation to a record label.
