Cairo Days of Monodrama to be launched Feb. 7

CAIRO – 6 February 2019: Osama Raouf, head of the Cairo Days of Monodrama, is set to launch the festival's second edition on Feb. 7, in the presence of a number of prominent Egyptian and Arab theatrical performers.

The festival will be held in the Hanager Theater in Cairo Opera House and will run until Feb. 10.

The festival is held under the auspices of Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem and presents numerous theater lighting workshops performed by lighting expert Abu Bakr al-Shereef.

Theatrical playwriting workshops will also be presented by Mahmoud al-Hedeny whereas an acting workshop will be presented by Naser Abdel Moneim.

The head of the judging panel of Cairo Days of Monodrama is Sameh Mahran.
