Ruler of Sharjah visits CIBF's closing ceremony

CAIRO – 5 February 2019: Ruler of Sharjah and Member of the Supreme Council of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al-Qasimi visited the section specialized for the Arab Publishers Association during his visit to Cairo International Book Fair.

Qasimi was greeted by President of the association, Mohammad Rashad. Rashad stated that Qasimi has always been a supporter of the Arab Publishers Association morally and monetarily. Qasimi affirmed that he will remain supportive of the association until it achieves its goals.

Rashad explained that he presented the fourth edition of the union’s magazine to the ruler of Sharjah. The magazine includes a large number of cultural activities to be held in the United Arab Emirates. The ruler of Sharjah inspected the Cairo International Book Fair and witnessed the end of the book fair’s golden jubilee celebration. Qasimi was accompanied by Min. of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem, President of the Arab Writers Union Habib Sayegh, President of the General Egyptian Book Authority Haitham el-Haj Ali and President of the Arab Publishers Association Mohamed Rashad.
