CAIRO- 3 June 2017: Saudi Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud inaugurated the Islamic Art Museum in Riyadh on Thursday.

The new museum features Arab Islamic art according to the King Faisal Foundation’s official Facebook page and has been inaugurated by ambassadors, diplomats, academics, and specialists.

Under the sponsorship of the King Fasial Foundation, the Islamic Art Museum showcases a rare artistic collection of Arab Islamic art and another unique collection of Qurans that vary in size, print, and country of origin, according to Saudi newspaper Al Watan Online.

The museum also features 200 antiquities belonging to Muslims in the old ages. The antiquities contain home appliances, weapons, medical equipment, textiles, and wooden items.
