CAIRO – 28 January 2019: After an absence of nearly 4 years, prominent Lebanese singer Nawal al-Zoghbi is about to release her new album that consists of songs performed in both the Egyptian and Lebanese dialects.
The album is produced by Rotana Company for Audio and Video. It is the first album contracted with the Lebanese singer after a break of 8 years between the singer and the producing company.
It is worth noting that the album is set to be released on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14.
The album consists of ten songs, offering a mix between the Egyptian and Lebanese dialects. The most significant songs of the album are “El Gamal Loh Naso” (beauty has its people), “100 Garh” (100 heart breaks), “Eli Brasi Amalto” (I did what I wanted).
“El Gamal Loh Naso” has been filmed as a video clip produced by Rotana. It is expected to be released in the near future.
The famed Lebanese star cooperated with numerous significant musical figures in the Arabic music industry, such as Amthal Taj al-Din, Amro Mostafa, Amro el-Masry, among others.
The new album is greatly anticipated among the fans of the prominent Lebanese star.
Zoghbi is a Lebanese pop singer. She has a fan base throughout the Arab world and has fans in North America and Europe.
The prominent singer first achieved popularity by singing traditional Arabic music with a pop sensation, and later singing in the Gulf dialect.
Through her 25-year career, she has always embraced new trends in Arab music.
Zoghbi plays the oriental oud instrument, but she thinks it does not suit the feminine attire.
The star capitalized on the popularity of music videos in Arab pop music in the '90s, which propelled her to local stardom in the Arab world.
