FILE – Nadi el Regal el Seri
CAIRO – 21 January 2019: Filmmakers of “Nadi el-Regal el-Seri” (The Secret Men's Club) decided to release it during the upcoming Eid al-Fitr season (Muslim feast).
The cast is betting on the film, especially after the great effort they exerted during the shooting period, which lasted for four months, director Khaled el-Halafawi stated to Youm7.
The film is starring Karim Abdel Aziz, Ghada Adel, and Maged el-Kedwany, among others. It is written by Ayman Wattar.
In the movie, Karim Abdel Aziz plays the role of a dentist named “Adham” who has been married to actress Ghada Adel for ten years. However, a huge gap develops in their marriage which forces Adel to watch her husband all the time in a comic way.
Abdel Aziz returns to cinema after a hiatus of 4 years, since the screening of "The Blue Elephant" in 2014. "The Blue Elephant" was written by Ahmed Murad, directed by Marwan Hamed and achieved unprecedented success.
Karim Abdel Aziz was born on August 17, 1975 in Giza. The star is the son of great director Mohamed Abdel Aziz.
This artistic upbringing influenced the star as he was already familiar with the nature of the business.
Abdel Aziz joined the high institute of cinema in 1994 and graduated from the directing department in 1997. He then worked as an assistant director for a short period where he was tempted by the sensation of being in front of the camera instead of behind it.
This is when he decided to switch to acting instead of directing, until he got his chance to act with director Sherif Arafa who introduced him for the first time.
Samira Ahmed chose Abdel Aziz for his role in the TV drama "Emraa mn zaman el-hob" which was his real kick off as a true artist with a real talent and great sense of humor.
Abdel Aziz started receiving several offers until he got his leading role in front of Mona Zaki and Hala Sheha in "Leeh Khalletny Ahebbak" (Why did you make me love you?”).
