Fadl Shaker to release new album 'Yalla ma’al Salama'

CAIRO – 18 December 2018: Mohamed Shaker, son of famed Lebanese singer Fadl Shaker, exposed that his father is about to release a new album titled “Yalla ma’al Salama” (goodbye).

The album's songs are written by Mohamed Refae’e, composed by Walid Sa’ad and musically arranged by Ali Abaza and Mahmoud Ramzi. Mohamed Fadl also uploaded the poster of the new album on his official Twitter account.

On Dec. 16, Mohamed Fadl uploaded a video of him with his father singing Fayrouz’s song “Rege’et el-Shetweya” (winter is back). Numerous fans on social media platforms interacted with the video and were pleased to see Fadl Shaker back after long years of hiatus.

Fadl Shaker is a famed Lebanese singer. During his musical career he was signed to Al-Khouyoul Records and from 2003 onwards the star signed with Rotana Records. In 2011, he declared his allegiance to Salafist sheikh Ahmed al-Assir renouncing music on religious grounds and retiring.
