CAIRO – 14 December 2018: During his participation in Carthage Theatrical Days Festival held in Tunisia, actor Sherif Sobhy spoke about “El-sa’aa el-Akhera” (The last hour), the play that represented Egypt in the festival.
Sobhy played the role of the American pilot who destroyed Japan's Hiroshima by releasing the nuclear bomb during World War II.
Sobhy spoke about his first visit to Tunisia. The actor also mentioned the workshops he is currently preparing with the Ministry of Youth and Sports to enhance the youth's skills.
The play “El-Sa’aa el-Akhera” (Last Hour) represented Egypt during the official contest of the festival. It revolves around the life of the American pilot who bombed Hiroshima during World War II.
“El-Sa’aa el-Akhera” is written by Eissa Gamal Eddin and stars Sherif Sobhy, Samia Atef, Mo’ataz al-Sweifi, Mahmoud al-Zayat and others. The play is directed by Nasser Abdel Moneim.
