Klakradl band to perform in Egypt on Nov. 26, 27

CAIRO – 27 November 2018:The Austrian Cultural Center in Cairo is organizing a musical tour for the band Klakradlthatwill be visiting Egypt for the first time.

The bandconsists of Birgit Radeschnig (vocals-guitar-accordion), Nicole Radeschnig (vocals-clarinet), StefanKollman (accordion- vocals) and Markus Fellner (clarinet-vocals -cajon)

The tour includesthree concerts that offer a blend of classical, jazz and folk music.

The first concert took place on Nov. 26 at 1 p.m. at the Faculty of Applied Artsin Helwan University. The second concert took place at 10:30 p.m.on the same day at the Cairo Jazz Club.

The music of the Austrian band will be mixed with the music of Egyptian rhythmist Salama Omar at the tour’s closing concerton Nov. 27at the Gomhoureya Theater at 8 p.m., portraying a unique dialogue of civilizations through arts and music.

The Austrian band previously held numerous concerts acrossAustria, achieving great success.

The concert ticket prices will be LE 25 and LE 35, so it can be affordable for students as well as adults.
